Last year Promax UK brought together an eclectic mix of speakers and sessions looking beyond our immediate industry to gather creative inspiration and the essential ideas in this most interesting of times.
We had two keynote speakers, ITV's new Director of Global Content Dawn Airey in her first time speaking engagement since taking the role and American cultural commentator and author Steven Johnson giving us his insights into popular culture and where the web is heading.
We also had Will Gompertz of Tate Media telling us the story of the museum's journey to modern media brand.
There were sessions on the new ways to reach the elusive youth audience, a look at the psychology of viewer trust, expert investigations into what different voices and accents can do to your spots and what happens when different brands get hold of the same piece of content.
Plus branding in the music business, how you promote in an on demand world, where photography and the billboard are going, what strategy planners make of it all so far, stunning spots from faraway places, how the hell they did that, UGC going way beyond and more.
