PUK Thursday - your regular networking event

PUK goes al fresco!

Yes, time for a Summer bash and we're going to be under the stars.
Our next London PUK Thursday is happening on July 24th in the garden of the Prince Albert - a stone's throw from Notting Hill Gate tube.  Universal Publishing Production Music – the face of production music – will be sponsoring the night getting the early beers flowing and offering some tempting nibbles. Better still, our fantastic sponsors will be offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to The Big Chill festival, the winner will be posted on their website www.unippm.co.uk the following day.

The fun kicks off at 6pm - if you have a PUK card don't forget to bring it for your fast track entry and free drinks - and if you haven't, don't worry, you can get one on the door (fill a form and pay a fiver).  You can find the Prince Albert  at 11 Pembridge Road, W11 3HQ. And if the weather doesn't behave, there are plenty of heaters and umbrellas!

What's New?

If we have your mobile number you will start to receive texts from Mobile PUK.

What a night! Our last London PUK Thursday was on June 12th at the ever popular Bar Soho. Over 120 people packed into the upstairs private bar to hang with the best in promotion, marketing and design.  Drinks were courtesy of the groovy musos at West One Music www.westonemusic.com  Adding to the buzz West One Music held a prize draw to win a 'Runner for a  Week' - winner to be announced shortly.   Big thanks to Rachel and all those with the spirit at West One Music.  If you want to see who was there -  click on the left for pictures.

Were you there? Dr Chris

Dr Chris (Dr Chris.JPG)Our first ever PUK Session on Wednesday 20th February at London’s Bar AKA featured a fascinating Creativity and Innovation Forum presented by Dr Chris Stevens, Principal Psychologist of Creative Mastery International.

After his presentation, the Aussie guru of creative thinking took many questions from the fascinated audience, and then stayed on until closing time to chat with our PUK guests.

Carte Blanc

Our white PUK Thursdays membership cards sponsored by Broadcast Freelancer www.broadcastfreelancer.com are available on the door at all London PUK events. They allow you fast track entry to all London PUK events (just show your card and let us record your membership number), complimentary drinks when available, and other benefits that may be announced here from time to time.

There is a one-off charge of £5 for each card. This is about the same as the price of your first couple of free beers - and the card is valid for more free drinks at future events. A new membership system is planned to be introduced later this year - more details here in the coming weeks.

The revenue raised makes a contribution to our running costs and reduces costly card wastage - once you have paid for your new card, don't forget to bring it with you to subsequent events as there will be a similar charge for a re-issue.

No membership card is required for our nationwide PUK events outside London, but we do require you to register at the door.

About PUK Thursdays

Promax UK runs its year-round PUK Thursdays networking events to provide a regular open forum for promotion, marketing and design professionals. PUK Thursdays are open to anyone in the industry and Promax membership is not required.

Other than the £5 charge per card for London events, entry to all PUK Thursdays events is free for relevant professionals - in exchange for your business card or e-mail address (so we can tell you about future events).
