Who are we?

Promax UK is a non-profit trade association for promotion, marketing, publicity and design professionals working in the electronic media.

We take our revenue from conference and awards ticket sales, awards entry fees and sponsorship and commercial arrangements. Running costs are kept to a minimum, and if there are any profits they are ploughed back into the organisation for the benefit of the Promax UK community.

We greatly welcome contributions from our partners in the electronic media – and from others wishing to market themselves to our valuable audience. In return we can help you to make the most of your marketing budget by offering you various opportunities to promote your company or organisation, brand or products to the highly desirable Promax UK community.


The Promax UK audience

Gone are the days when the living room television set ruled the roost. Ours is an extremely fast-moving industry which has extended its boundaries well beyond the traditional core activity of terrestrial broadcasting. From "the small screen" to even smaller screens, from PCs and laptops to multiplexes and mobile phones, it’s now massively diverse, mobile and competitive, with a plethora of programming, channels and delivery systems vying with each other for the attention of a fragmented consumer market.

Promax UK represents the influential people charged with undertaking this marketing and promotional activity. With their combined multi-million pound spending power, they buy and use many creative and technical services and products specific to our industry directly in the course of their work.

They also consume a wide range of goods and services personally, of course. And as young, cosmopolitan, trend-setting, opinion-forming early adopters they are of great appeal to many cutting-edge consumer brands.

Our audience’s innovative preferences, tastes and values are reflected in creative work which is seen by tens of millions of people each and every day. Yet paradoxically they themselves are a difficult bunch to reach.
